The American Darts Organization® (ADO) and you. What is the relationship?

As a player in the London Bridge Dart Association, you are a member of ADO Area 2, Region 2-3.
Your ADO Association Representative is Bob Preston from the LBDA.
Your ADO Regional Representative is Steve Hogan from Tucson, AZ
Your ADO Area Manager is Steve Shauss from Casper, WY.
Together, along with the help of many others, these people make it possible for you to participate in National competitions sponsored by the ADO.

The list below describes ADO events and key dates in support of those events. Events that have passed are grayed-out to make it easier to read. The list gives ADO deadlines only - not actual events.

  • January 29, 2010 - ADO Regional Playoffs - ADO Masters - Las Vegas, NV
  • January 29, 2010 - National Finals - ADO Cricket Singles Championship - Las Vegas, NV
  • April 11, 2010 - Deadline - Association Playoffs - ADO All-Stars
  • May 21-23, 2010 - ADO Regional Playoffs - ADO All-Stars - Phoenix, AZ
  • June 11, 2010 - National Finals - ADO Masters - Houston, TX
  • June 27, 2010 - Deadline - Association Playoffs - ADO U.S. Team
  • July 23-25, 2010 - ADO Regional Playoffs - ADO U.S. Team
  • August 6, 2010 - ADO East-West All-Star Challenge & 501 Championships - Stamford, CT
  • October 3, 2010 - Deadline - Association Playoffs - ADO Cricket Singles Championship
  • October 8, 2010 - National Finals - ADO U.S. Team - 2011 World Cup Team - Denver, CO
  • November 5-7, 2010 - ADO Regional Playoffs - ADO Cricket Singles Championship

The LBDA will sponsor event qualifiers to identify league players to represent the LBDA at ADO events.
ADO events are usually tied to a major tournament and tend to occur on or prior to the day the tournament begins.

LBDA qualifiers, known as 'Association Playoffs', serve not only to identify a representative but also serve to raise funds to pay entry fees. Typical entry fees range from $110.00 per person at the Regional level to $880.00 per person at the National level.
